Cirollective is a non-profit arts organization that provides opportunities and resources for performance-focused physical artists on Canada’s West Coast.
We believe that audiences deserve to see what our talented community has to offer, and that artists in our community deserve to have access to local performance opportunities that allow them to thrive.
In a locale where the industry is predominantly corporate work in the event space, we provide creative performance opportunities for west coast circus artists and provide education and resources relevant this artistic community. While circus arts is the primary vehicle for our work, we also incorporate visual art, theatre, dance, drag, burlesque and film traditions with a commitment to uninhibited creativity and underrepresented stories.
I helped to form and create this non-profit and will always stand by the mission and values of this organization. These days, circus takes up less space in my life. I served 2 terms ono the Board of Directors and as a volunteer on the Production Committee for 2 additional years after stepping down as a Co-Director.
What have we done?
We have held 4 cabarets since inception in 2023 and have showcased and provided competitively paid work for over 25 local artists in circus, drag, burlesque and other performing arts communities!
